Something interesting or new I learned about the standard 8.EE.8 was that i the video there were many different ways to solve the linear equations in the problems rather than just going with one. The video showed that clearly I guess because they said "and that's not the only way you can solve it." It also helps break the mindset were math is a direct subject that has limits.
